This is an opportunity to join an experienced and supportive infrastructure team in a dynamic IT environment. The successful candidate will be a key member facilitating IT support, security, operations and project-based tasks for technologies used across the organisation.

The key responsibilities will be…

  • Provide technical support for levels 1 to 2.

  • Acting as first point of contact to service and support users and customers of Assetinsure.

  • Assist in the maintenance of systems and provide technical support for hardware and software.

  • Provide assistance to staff on the use of hardware, software and systems.

  • Maintain and create documentation.

  • Involvement with all aspects of user onboarding and offboarding.

  • Troubleshoot technical faults.

Technical competency and skills in supporting:

  • Various hardware assets not limited to servers, printers, client computers, storage and mobile devices.
  • Support and enforcement of security policies.
  • Apply methodical approach to the diagnosis of technical problems.

  • Maintain an approachable, friendly demeanour with can do attitude.
  • Working as a valued team member of the IT Department.
  • Ability to develop and foster partnership with both internal users and external vendors.

The experience required is with:

  • Microsoft Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019/2022.
  • Microsoft Active Directory.
  • Printing support.
  • Experience in providing technical support levels 1 to 2.
  • Experience with service desk ticketing systems.
  • Experience in liaising with staff at all levels of an organisation.
  • Support, train and mentoring of staff in the use of various technologies.

  • Jira Service Management
  • Citrix Cloud DaaS (previous XenApp).
  • Microsoft 365 Admin.
  • Microsoft Intune.
