This is an opportunity for a graduate or actuarial analyst to contribute to the capital, reinsurance, structuring, and reserving capability of Assetinsure to support its growth plans. There are opportunities to work in general, specialty, credit and direct lines for Assetinsure’s direct and reinsurance portfolios. You will be working with closely with Assetinsure’s global partners and for high performing candidates, there may be the opportunity to work in the global network.

The key responsibilities will be…

  • Date preparation using tools such as Excel, SQL, or Python.
  • Modelling and analysis for underwriting, portfolio management and management reporting.
  • Collaborate with underwriting and finance teams to analyse portfolio performance and identify trends.
  • Contribute to capital modelling, reinsurance analysis, APRA reporting, and business planning activities.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of pricing models and rating tools.

The experience required is…

  • Actuarial Degree with good progress towards actuarial qualification, with the majority of Part I and Part II exemptions/completed.
  • 0 – 2 years’ experience in actuarial or relevant role.
  • Coding experience in R, SQL and/or python ideal but not essential. Proficiency in excel is also preferred.
