Construction Warranty Insurance
Assetinsure’s Construction Warranty Insurance (CWI) offering combines underwriting expertise with practical building knowledge to provide warranty insurance that protects homeowners when builders are unable to complete or rectify residential building work due to insolvency, death, or disappearance.
As of December 1st 2025, Assetinsure has appointed Credeq Australia Pty Ltd (Credeq), a specialist Australian underwriting agency, as its underwriting and claims agent for CWI products.
Assetinsure and Credeq have the only private insurance offering supporting builders with Building Indemnity Insurance (BII) in South Australia.
Following legislative changes effective 30 May 2025, Assetinsure and Credeq will no longer accept new applications for Domestic Building Insurance (DBI) in Victoria.
