27/09/2005, Assetinsure enters General Aviation market
MELBOURNE, September 26, 2005. Assetinsure today announced that it has entered the General Aviation insurance market. Expanding the company’s range of specialist portfolios, Assetinsure Aviation has begun trading and will service aviation customers throughout Australia and the Pacific region.
The new aviation team will be led by Brendan Warner who has over 27 years aviation insurance experience. Assetinsure’s aviation business will be conducted exclusively through the intermediary market. Brendan will be joined in October by Matthew Puryer, who has extensive general aviation experience in the London market.
Assetinsure’s aviation office is based in Melbourne, at 367 Collins Street. A wide selection of aviation risks will be underwritten, ranging from light aircraft to commercial fleet operations to hangar-keeper’s legal liability. Capacity provided by Assetinsure and its supporting global reinsurers will widen the choice for buyers of aviation insurance products.
