7/10/2009, Assetinsure Professional Risks enters into new partnership with Inter Hannover
Since its inception in 2004 Assetinsure has been actively writing professional liability insurance as an APRA licensed insurance company. The company has established a strong reputation for professional and knowledgeable service coupled with sound technical underwriting.
In a step designed to enhance this reputation with indisputable financial security, Assetinsure has entered into a partnership with the Australian Branch of International Insurance Company of Hannover Limited (Inter Hannover), an APRA authorised insurer, to write professional liability insurance for Australian domiciled risks. Inter Hannover is a member of the Hannover Re Group with a very strong Standard & Poor’s AA- rating and has been successfully writing primary insurance and single risk business for 30 years.
The Professional Risks department of Assetinsure will operate from 7th October 2009 as a managing general agent for Inter Hannover writing professional liability insurance on behalf of Inter Hannover. Assetinsure’s operations in other classes of insurance remain unaffected by this development.
The target market for Assetinsure Professional Risks will remain largely unchanged with a focus on medium-to-large professional firms and “corporate” risks across a wide range of occupations.
The Professional Risks team will be contacting brokers in the near future to arrange detailed briefings on this new agency partnership.
